Q. When can I start a special education teaching credential program?
A. Both Alliant International University and Brandman University accept candidates every 8 weeks. National University accepts candidates every 4 weeks.
Q. Must I enroll in Alliant International University, Brandman Unviversity, or National University to be considered for a permanent special education teaching position with OUSD?
A. No, candidates are welcome to enroll into any special education teaching credential program.
However, candidates who are accepted into the cohort may take classes in Oakland and access unique benefits offered by the partner universities.
Q. How much does the credential cost and how long will it take to complete it?
